FASTA physicians will be able to practice in the United States and other countries

The Faculty of Medical Sciences UFASTA was recognized by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates as medical school.

This accredits and grants FASTA University the Sponsor Note al World Directory of Medical Schoolsthis being an unavoidable step to validate doctors graduated abroad.

This way, Physicians from Fasta University can now carry out their residencies, as well as exercise in the United States, Canada, England, Australia and in the other countries that use the ECFMG as a validation and accreditation agency for foreign universities.

The ECFMG (Educational Commission for Physicians Graduated Abroad) is an agency dependent on the Department of Education of the United States, which verifies that the University exists, that it meets the standards established by the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Nation (in this case CONEAU), that can grant valid titles, and that doctors are trained in certain medical-clinical contents.

“To validate Fasta University, a copy of our titles, our analytics, our study programs, the signature of our authorities had to be delivered. The Ministry of Education de la Nación had to write a note and complete some forms recognizing us as a University, and requested the Sponsor Note on our behalf, which was finally granted to us,” explained the lawyer. Federico Giacopazzi of the Directorate of International Affairs UFASTA.

“Although we were already registered a few years ago in the World Directory of Medical Schools (World Directory of Medical Schools), when you entered UFASTA, it didn’t have the Sponsor Note of this agency ECFMG. In other words, we were already registered, but there was no paper to certify that we have everything in order, and that our graduates are eligible. without that Sponsor Note, they cannot take you for residences or to work, because the hospitals and each state, the first thing they do is verify that your School of Medicine exists. Now our graduated doctors can practice their profession in those countries, and our advanced students can do their residencies there” added Giacopazzi.
