In the Play T20 match against Sri Lanka, Mohammad Hasnain won the honor of hat-trick by showing excellent bowling.
The opening overs of the match being played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore did not go well for Mohammad Hasnain and proved to be relatively costly.
However, the fast bowler got his first wicket by dismissing Banuka Rajapakse on the 16th ball of the match and the last ball of his third over.

The next overs were then bowled by Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Amir after which Sarfraz Ahmed brought Hasnain back to bowl in the 19th over.
Hasnain completed his first international hat-trick by dismissing Sri Lankan captain Dasan Shanaka and Sheehan Jayasuriya, who scored 17 runs, off the first ball of his fourth over.

Thanks to this brilliant hat-trick, Mohammad Hasnain set a new world record and became the youngest bowler to score a hat-trick in T20 Internationals.
So far 9 hat-tricks have been scored in T20 cricket where the first hat-trick was scored by the great Australian fast bowler Brett Lee.
Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka is the only player to have scored two international hat-tricks in T20 cricket, while Hasnain is the second Pakistani bowler to score a hat-trick after Faheem Ashraf from Pakistan.
Mohammad Hasnain became the youngest bowler not only for Pakistan but also for the world to score a hat-trick. He achieved this honor by scoring a hat-trick at the age of 19 years and 183 days.
Pakistan’s Aqib Javed also holds the title of youngest overall hat-trick in international cricket, who completed a hat-trick at the age of 19 years and 81 days in an ODI match against India at Sharjah in 1991. And despite the passage of 28 years, his record is still standing.
Now in T20 cricket, Sri Lanka including Lasith Malinga and Thusara Perera have scored three hat-tricks, while Pakistan and New Zealand have scored two and Australia and Afghanistan have scored one hat-trick each.
