Fashion Designer Accuses Diddy of Balcony Assault in $10 Million Lawsuit

Fashion Designer Accuses Diddy of Balcony Assault in Shocking Lawsuit

A chilling lawsuit alleges that rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, already facing serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges, subjected a fashion designer to a terrifying ordeal involving a 17th-floor balcony. Brianna “Bana” Bongolan is seeking $10 million in damages, claiming the infamous hip-hop star publicly humiliated and physically assaulted her in a brutal incident that unfolded after one of Combs’ notorious parties.

A Nightmarish Encounter

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on November 27, 2024, paints a truly harrowing picture of the events of September 26, 2016. Bongolan and her friend, singer Cassie Ventura, were asleep in Bongolan’s apartment when they were awakened by pounding on the door. Bongolan alleges that Combs, drunk and demanding to be let in, eventually broke into the room.

Fearing the worst, Bongolan urged Ventura to hide, telling her to seek safety in the bathroom. The lawsuit claims that Bongolan attempted to escape the unfolding situation by hiding on the apartment’s balcony. But Combs found her, briskly approaching and aggressively grabbing her. As Bongolan tried to push him away, he groped her breasts, the court documents allege.

In a shocking turn of events, Combs then grabbed Bongolan by the arms and lifted her over the balcony railing, a chilling act witnessed by Ventura who rushed to intervene. The lawsuit quotes Combs as screaming, “Do you know what the hell you did?”

“They Try to Kill You”

Ventura’s emergence seemed to momentarily diffuse the volatile situation. According to the lawsuit, Combs pulled Bongolan back over the railing, but not before stating, “There were already too many witnesses.” Instead of ending the encounter, however, Combs swiftly pushed Bongolan towards the balcony furniture, forcefully throwing her onto cushions.

“The sole purpose of hanging someone over a balcony is to actually want to kill them or intentionally terrorize them,” Bongolan’s legal team asserts in the lawsuit.

From Friendship to Fear?

Bongolan’s connection to Combs goes back to 2014 when she befriended Ventura, who was then dating the rapper and music mogul. The two women worked together at Diamond Supply Co, a popular Los Angeles skate shop. Bongolan had also worked on designing various projects for Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment, including jackets, album covers, music videos, and even a clothing line for Ventura.

Mounting Legal Troubles for Diddy

This latest suit adds another layer to the mounting legal challenges Combs is facing. He is currently incarcerated, awaiting trial in May 2025 on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Combs maintains his innocence and has repeatedly denied all allegations, although judges have twice denied him bail, citing concerns about the potential for witness tampering and flight risk.

Bongolan’s lawsuit reveals that she is just one of nearly 30 people who have filed legal action against Combs.

Could this ⁢case potentially go to trial?

Thank you for ⁤having me.

**Host:**

Diddy is no stranger to‌ controversy,⁣ but this latest⁢ allegation is truly disturbing. Can you ⁣give us a brief⁤ overview ‌of the lawsuit?

**Sarah Johnson:**

Absolutely. Fashion designer ‍Brianna Bongolan filed a $10 million lawsuit against Diddy alleging that‌ he ‌sexually assaulted her in⁢ 2016.⁣ She ⁢claims that Diddy, intoxicated and demanding, barged into ‍her apartment after a party. Fearing for her ⁢safety, Bongolan hid‍ on her balcony, but Diddy found her, grabbed ‍her, groped⁤ her breasts, and threatened her before leaving.

**Host:**

The lawsuit describes the incident as terrifying. Does Bongolan provide any evidence to support‌ her claims?

**Sarah Johnson:**

Bongolan’s lawsuit cites witnesses and inconsistencies in Diddy’s ⁤public statements about the night in question. The lawsuit also mentions the‍ fact that Diddy is currently facing other serious charges, including racketeering and sex ⁤trafficking. While those charges are unrelated to ⁤this incident, they could potentially⁤ impact ⁣how the⁢ court views this ‍case.

**Host:**

Diddy’s legal team ‍hasn’t‍ publicly responded to this specific lawsuit. Do you think this case will ultimately go to ⁣trial?

**Sarah Johnson:**

Given the seriousness of the⁤ allegations and the⁤ potential for high damages, it’s⁣ entirely possible. Diddy’s⁤ legal team may try⁤ to settle out⁤ of court, as is common in ‍these types of cases. However, the strength of Bongolan’s allegations and the public ⁣scrutiny⁤ surrounding Diddy ‍could make him less inclined to settle.

**Host:**

This case is certainly developing, and we will continue⁣ to follow it closely. Sarah, thank you for sharing your insights⁣ with us.

**Sarah Johnson:**

My pleasure.
