Federal Antimonopoly Service in December 2022 analyzed established tariffs for electricity by zones of the day. As a result, in Primorsky Krai and a number of other regions, the rates adopted from December 1, 2022 were slightly reduced.
In Primorsky Krai, the tariff for electricity in the peak zone of the day was reduced by 7.82% for the urban population, whose living quarters are not equipped with electric stoves and electric heating installations.
For the population with electric stoves and electric heating installations, the peak tariff was reduced by 7.75%, and for the rural population, the peak tariff was reduced by 7.89%.
Also, on the recommendation of the FAS, the regional tariff authorities of the Khabarovsk Territory, Novgorod, Pskov and Sverdlovsk regions reduced electricity tariffs by day zones.
Recall that in December last year, tariffs for all housing and communal services in Primorye have changed within 9%. Tariff indexation occurs twice a year – from January 1 and July 1. But last year, the Russian government decided to postpone the indexation of tariffs from July 2023 to December 1 of the current year. It is planned that the next year and a half tariffs will not increase.
