The success story of Farming Simulator 22 continues unabated. The popular simulation has cracked another million mark.
The farming simulator has always been popular and extremely successful in Germany in particular, but the franchise has long since achieved worldwide success. This can now be seen once more in the current one Farming simulator 22.
The title, which was only released on November 22 last year, has meanwhile been able to win over more players around the world: According to the developer GIANTS Software, the current part has now been sold over three million times – and that within just nine weeks.
Christian Ammann, CEO of the developer, is correspondingly satisfied: “I would like to thank our community, the modders, influencers, gamers and partners. Everyone who plays an important role in maintaining our growing ecosystem. We look forward to new opportunities and Projects in 2022 – with new content to expand the experience of simulated farming and Farming Simulator 22.”
For the coming weeks and months, the title and community should continue to grow. The roadmap for future expansions has already been laid out for the long term. As part of a Year 1 Season Pass you can expect a large add-on and other content packages; this will also be accompanied by free content updates. The first DLC introduced three new brands and 16 new machines and is already available for free download.
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia.
