The farmers of Karditsa carried out a mobilization with agricultural machinery and cars at the junction of the E65 in response to the call of the United Federation of Agricultural Associations of Karditsa.
The farmers among other things they ask for direct and fair compensations at a rate of 100% for the damages suffered by the floods of last September, to deal with the low prices of the products and the high production costs, with substantial support measures, but also to give flesh and blood anti-flood projects that will shield the areas that were destroyed since the advance of the last theomenian.
At the same time, according to enikos, they will seek a meeting with the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Kostas Tsiaras, to whom they will make known their demands and the contentious context. They also emphasized that if the government does not provide solutions, they will continue their struggle, and will not abandon their crops and villages.
