Thiruvananthapuram ∙ Actor Jayaram received the honor of the state agriculture department. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan honored Jayaram on the occasion. Jayaram’s farm activities at Thotua in Perumbavoor were honored. When this year’s farmer awards were announced, it was made clear that Jayaram would be given a special honour.
There are regarding 60 cows in Jayaram’s ‘Anand Farm’ in Thottuwa. The farm was started 10 years ago with 5 cows in an area of five and a half acres in Thotua. Jayaram went to Krishnagiri, Hosur and Bengaluru to buy the cows. The milk produced in the farm is given directly to the needy and in the milk society.
