Farmer caught husband having sex with milking assistant: trial for assault

A 40-year-old farmer had to answer for assaulting her husband. She is said to have beaten the 43-year-old with a metal-rubber scrubber following she caught her husband red-handed having extramarital sex with a young milking assistant in the calf barn. The defendant did not confess.

The incriminated incident occurred on April 24, 2022 on the couple’s homestead in the Baden district. She wanted to help her husband feed the calves that evening. After opening the stable door, she “stood rooted to the spot. I caught him red-handed. It was as if the ground was being pulled out from under someone’s feet,” said the 40-year-old. She “reflexively” stood in front of her two small children, who accompanied her into the stable to wish their dad a good night. “So that they don’t have to see the sexual image,” as the mother of two explained, specifying following a short pause: “Both of them had their pants down.”

The milking assistant then fled the stable, ran following her, but did not manage to catch up with her, the defendant stated. She then wanted to “confront” the man. In this context, she did not use the scrubber with an aluminum handle that was in the stable and did not strike it, the defendant assured. She simply filled a bucket with water and poured it on her husband, whereupon he sprayed water into her eyes with a hose: “I blamed him. I was totally exhausted.”

“I have almost nothing to do with him anymore”

When asked regarding her current relationship with her husband, the defendant said: “I have almost nothing to do with him anymore.” The couple is divorcing and a court divorce hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday.

According to the criminal complaint, the man who was intentionally injured – photographs of hematomas on his back are part of the court file – stated on the witness stand that he had had a “one-time, short relationship” with the then 21-year-old agricultural specialist. “They had sex in the calf barn,” the judge interjected. “Yes. Unique,” replied the 43-year-old, “we were just finished. I just fastened my belt.” Then his wife opened the stable door and came in. She started screaming and hit his back and head “extremely” with the scrubber: “She didn’t let go of me. The more I begged her to stop, the more intensely she hit.” Finally he fell to the ground: “As I was lying on the ground, she spat on me and left.”

The 43-year-old complained that he continued to suffer from severe, impact-related headaches for three months followingwards. He repeatedly had to resort to painkillers in order to be able to do his work. The farmer concluded by emphasizing that there had been no extramarital sexual relationship with the woman, who was 21 years his junior: “It was a one-time thing.”

The detective has to prove a genuine relationship

Lukas Kollmann, the farmer’s defense attorney, is by no means convinced of this. He indicated that a detective had obtained evidence indicating a continuing extramarital relationship, which is likely to be an issue in the divorce proceedings. Kollmann is also convinced that the man, who was dressed once more at the time of the alleged beating, was wearing so many layers of clothing that no serious injuries might have been caused to him with an aluminum handle of the mop.

Amir Ahmed and Michael Dohr, the 43-year-old’s two legal representatives, had already requested a forensic medical report before the hearing. They wanted to underline that their client had suffered significant injuries from his “better half”. The judge accepted this request. The hearing was adjourned indefinitely to obtain an expert opinion.
