Farewell to Julio Gini: Celebrated Argentine Actor of Stage and Screen Passes Away

The Argentine Association of Actors reported the passing of Julio Gini, an actor with an extensive career in theater, film, and television, remembered by many for his work in “Los Simuladores” and “Casados con Hijos”.

His farewell will take place this Tuesday, July 23, at 9:15 AM in the crematorium area of the Chacarita Cemetery.

His theatrical work includes titles such as Preludio para un beso, Las D’enfrente, Jettatore, La barca sin pescador, Narcisa Garay Pájaro de barro, Los árboles mueren de pie, Buenas noches Beatriz, El conventillo de la Paloma, Il tramonto.

Meanwhile, in television, he participated in numerous hits such as Andrea Celeste, El show de Balá, Los Simuladores, Muñeca Brava, Carola y Carolina, Franco Buenaventura, el profe, Alta Comedia, El duende azul, La Niñera, Los de la esquina, El deseo, Casados con hijos, Hechizada, Los 100 días de Ana, and Mesa de Noticias.

In film, he worked in La fin del mundo, and as a radio theater performer, he worked in important broadcasters during the ’50s and ’60s. In recent years, he participated in radio cycles such as Permiso para imaginar, Teatro para aplaudir, among others.
