Farewell to Christiane Hörbiger at the Vienna Central Cemetery

The actress Christiane Hörbiger, who died at the end of November, is laid to rest today in the Vienna Central Cemetery.

Before the artist, who died at the age of 84, was buried in a grave of honor, her remains were laid out in the Karl Borromäus Church in the morning. Here the public can say goodbye to the crowd favorite and sign a book of condolences.

The consecration during the funeral service, which begins at 1.30 p.m., will then be carried out by cathedral priest Toni Faber. There is also the opportunity for mourners to pay their last respects to Hörbiger in the official online book of condolences. Hundreds of people have already made use of it.
