The management committee of the Achaia Branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society in a statement issued notes: “It is with deep sadness that we learned of the loss of our beloved colleague Theklis Drosos. We are saying goodbye, unfortunately, to an excellent Mathematics teacher and an active member of the Branch.
Thekli served Secondary Education with dedication, conscientiousness and responsibility until her retirement, while her contribution to the Achaia Branch of EME was multifaceted and valuable. An outstanding colleague, fighter, devoted friend, loving mother and grandmother, her loss leaves an irreplaceable void for all those who appreciated and loved her.
Our sincere condolences to her relatives, especially to her husband, professor emeritus of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Patras, Kostas Drosos, to her children and grandchildren.”
Her civil funeral will take place today, Friday 6/09/2024, at 14:30 at the First Cemetery of Patras.
