Al-Marsad Newspaper: Social media activists circulated an influential video documenting a Saudi family’s farewell party for their domestic worker, following spending 6 years working for them.
The video showed the worker, who seemed surprised and happy, as she was surprised to hold a farewell party for her, as the family brought her a large bouquet of roses and a cake to celebrate.
The clip also showed the words of thanks in English that the Saudi family gave to their worker, the content of which was: “We will miss you dear and wish you a better future. We thank you once more for your wonderful work and for being an important part of our family.”
