The Egyptian artist, Farah Al Zahed, is living the most important days of her artistic life so far, by releasing the movie “The Yellow Duck” in theaters, especially since it represents an important step for her in the artistic field in general, and in cinema in particular, after her experience in the movie “Sugar Daddy”, which It served as the gateway through which she crossed into the world of cinema and comedy as well, to respond with her new film to all those who doubted her presence on the artistic scene, that she entered the artistic field through the door of “mediation” because of her sister, the artist Hana Al Zahid.
Farah confirmed through her work that she is worthy of the trust of the production companies and directors who gave her the opportunity, and that she does not rush the championship and walks with calm steps. She could have been brought together by her sister Hana al-Zahid, and other questions.
* How do you find your participation in the movie “The Yellow Duck” your second experience in the cinema?
– I find it wonderful and very important, and I am happy to participate in the film that brings me together with a number of great stars, Mohamed Abdel Rahman “Tota”, Ghada Adel, Mahmoud Hafez, Amr Ramzy, Hassan Abu Al-Rous and others, and it was written by Mahmoud Ezzat and directed by Issam Nassar, and I was happy I was very pleased with my presence at the screening of the film among the audience, to hear their comments on my participation, and I was very happy with the reactions to my role in the film, and I hope that the audience in all the Arab world will like it.
* Who recommended you to participate in the film?
– Director Issam Nassar nominated me for the role after he saw one of my works, and when he offered me the role, I agreed to it because it is new and different for me, in addition to sharing this number of stars with whom I work for the first time, and I was happy to be with them, whether in front of the camera, or even behind the scenes of the movie .
* Did this experience benefit you as an actress who feels her steps on the path to stardom?
– It certainly benefited me a lot, and every work I participate in is like a new step forward. I learned a lot from it because I like to develop myself and constantly criticize my performance so that I can achieve the best in subsequent experiences, just as I benefited from my first experience in the movie “Sugar Daddy”, which I felt my cinematic path in it, and I learned a lot from this experience.
Was the benefit on a professional or personal level?
The two are together, and in a big way. During the filming of “Sugar Daddy”, it was the first time for me that I stood in front of cinema cameras, and I was inside the filming location withdrawing into myself, and I did not talk to anyone, until some tried to talk to me, but the nature of my personality is that I am not Social, and I do not get to know people easily, which is what some of the film’s heroes commented on, and I found that this is not really a positive thing, so in “The Yellow Duck” I quickly and greatly merged with the rest of the work team, and on the professional level I also benefited a lot, because my character is in a movie “The Yellow Duck” has a larger area, and there were some observations that I monitored for myself, and tried to avoid them, and I will be better in the upcoming works, God willing. I criticize myself despite the audience’s admiration for the role, which I monitored through private comments and reactions.

Is comedy a problem for you?
Comedy is really very difficult, and I don’t tell you a secret that I enjoy more when presenting tragedy or serious roles in general, but I don’t mind presenting all artistic colors because one of the most important features of an actor is diversity in his choices and roles, and I hope to present serious works again, especially since I After the “Peacock” series, I did not present serious works that I could present through my various artistic capabilities.
* It has been noticed that you have been focusing lately on cinema.. Do you intend to do so?
On the contrary, I did not plan my artistic life in general, so that all matters of work were just a coincidence, as there is no planning to present cinema, television or theater, but what moves me in the first place is good work, so I rejected many works in the recent period because they It does not suit me, and certainly cinema is very important and makes the history of the artist.

* Do you dream of absolute championship?
– First, the concept of heroism has changed from the past, as you now find a very large number of stars participating in one act, and we recently saw stars such as Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed El Sakka and others in one act, so the concept now has changed a lot from the previous one, and all I care about is the quality The roles that I present are influential and different, and they affect the audience well and remind me of them.
* You recently made a special appearance in the movie “Mr. X” in front of your sister here, and her husband, the artist Ahmed Fahmy. How do you see this experience, and can you present a work that brings you and here during the coming period?
– A very beautiful and important experience that I enjoyed, and I appeared in it as a guest of honor. It is a different and new experience in cinema, and it won the admiration of the audience. I was also pleased to deal with Ahmed Fahmy. As for participating here in a work that brings us together, I think it is a postponed step by agreement between us, but the project remains. I hope it will be implemented in due course.
