Al-Sharqiya Governorate witnessed the Faqous accident today, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in which three young men studying at the Students’ College were killed, while their fourth colleague was seriously injured, requiring him to be placed under medical care.
The beginning was when the Director of Eastern Security, Major General Mohamed Salah, received a notification from the warden of the Faqous department, stating that a terrible traffic accident had occurred as a result of a collision between an private car and a transport vehicle at the entrance to the city of Faqous in the Sharkia governorate.
It turned out that the angel’s car was completely destroyed as a result of the force of the collision with the transport vehicle, which made it very difficult to extract the people inside the car.
And following the Civil Protection Forces moved to help extract the injured from the car in an attempt to save those who were alive, and indeed, the attempts to free those inside the car succeeded.
After taking the passengers out of the car, it became clear that they were four young men, and by examining their identities, it became clear that they were students at the Student College. Three of them died immediately following the accident while they were inside the car, while the fourth student is still alive, but his health condition is serious.
The ambulance transported the victims of the accident to Faqous General Hospital and placed the deceased inside the morgue, while medical aid is currently underway for the fourth injured person to keep him alive.
The Civil Protection Forces succeeded in removing the traces of the accident from the middle of the road in order to facilitate the traffic operation, while the competent authorities undertook the investigation of the incident under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, and it was authorized to pay the bodies of the deceased.
