Fanta and Warner Bros. Bring Halloween to Life
Well, well, well! Hold onto your Fanta cans, folks, because we’ve got a collaboration that’s more exciting than a double feature of Beetlejuice and a horror film that actually makes you scream. Tim Burton’s iconic weirdness is hitting the big screen again this fall, and thanks to the spooky shenanigans of Warner Bros. and Fanta, the Deetz family’s ghostly escapades are taking over Madrid in a way that will leave you saying, “That’s a fright I can drink to!”
The Afterlife Train Experience: A Rollercoaster to the Beyond
Picture this: you and a crowd of fellow ghost hunters aboard the Afterlife Train Experience, which flung its doors wide open on October 19! If you thought commuting was scary, just wait until you try finding Beetlejuice among the ashes and spirits. And for those who can’t hop on a flight to Madrid, don’t sweat it! There’s a digital escape room experience accessible through the Coke App. That’s right—no passport needed to enter this ghastly getaway.
Fanta’s Halloween Spirit: A Trick or Treat of Creative Fun
Listen up, Generation Z! Halloween is your chance to unleash your wild side with fewer constraints than a family gathering. Fanta is doubling down on creativity this year. With limited-edition packaging and unique flavors that will have you questioning what you’re drinking at a Halloween party, this is your moment. The partnership with Warner Bros. isn’t just clever marketing; it’s a full-throttle call to dive into a world where the only constraint is your imagination! Want to win a trip to the Warner Bros. theme park? Well, aren’t you lucky if you snag those golden Fanta caps!
Beetlejuice Awaits—Are You Brave Enough?
In this interactive escapade, the goal is to track down Beetlejuice as he wreaks havoc throughout famous film locations, from the dusty Deetz residence to the eerie Graveyard Lands. Just your average Thursday night, right? But don’t think it’ll be a walk in the haunted park! It takes skill and a touch of bravery to navigate through this spooky saga.
Can’t Get to Madrid? No Problem!
No need to worry if your travel budget is tighter than your jeans after Halloween candy! You can still join in the ghoulish fun from the comfort of your home. Fanta’s digital escape room beckons the brave souls of the EU to solve spine-tingling puzzles and collect points for delightful prizes. Who knew finding ghosts could be so rewarding? Though, let’s be honest, it’s *not* like anyone actually aspires to be a ghost hunter… it’s just a gig economy thing these days.
Words from the Wise
Dana Nussbaum, from Warner Bros. Pictures, sums it up perfectly, “We are very proud to partner with Fanta to celebrate the return of Beetlejuice.” And Strenner Kinga, the brand manager at Fanta, chimes in with a cheeky nod: “Halloween is the perfect time to bring consumers closer to our brand by bringing playful and witty adventures similar to the character of Beetlejuice to life.” Bitterly cold fall evenings never looked so good!
The countdown to Halloween is officially on, and with Fanta and Warner Bros. leading the charge, we’re in for a treat. Bad jokes and all—if only life were as easy as opening a can of Fanta. Now, go on! Grab that cap, download the app, and may the spooky odds be ever in your favor!

The continuation of Tim Burton’s classic this fall also swept Hungarian moviegoers off their feet. Thanks to the collaboration between the two iconic brands, Warner Bros. and Fanta, the terrifyingly exciting story of the Deetz family can be enjoyed by fans not only on the movie screen: the Afterlife Train Experience opened on October 19 in Madrid. Thanks to Fanta’s prize distribution, domestic fans also had the opportunity to buy tickets for the spooky escape room, but the digital version will also be available via the Coke App. Furthermore, between October 24-27, those who want a little scare can try the shortened version of the escape room for free in the Allee.
Fanta’s campaign this year offers more opportunities than ever to indulge in the Halloween spirit. While most holidays come with many constraints and expectations, at the end of October our imagination and creativity can be fulfilled. Warner Bros. Pictures and Fanta draw attention to this as well, who encourage Generation Z through more consumer activities in autumn to enjoy and shape this period according to their own vision. In addition to Fanta’s limited-edition packaging and Halloween flavor, the Afterlife Train Experience, which is the highlight of this year’s collaboration between the two brands, also supports this. The ghost ride is a special and unique escape room experience in Madrid, where domestic consumers could also win a pair of tickets thanks to Fanta’s prize draw through the Coke App. The trip as the main prize will last until November 2-3 and includes, in addition to the escape room, a visit to the Warner Bros. theme park. And for additional prizes, all players have to do is upload the code found in their Fanta caps to the app by November 17. However, you don’t have to travel all the way to Madrid to enjoy Fanta’s Halloween scares: at the entrance of the Allee Újbuda center on the ground floor, those interested can peek into the abbreviated version of the escape room. Entry here is free, but “exit is uncertain”, reads the opening of the escape room.
The aim of the interactive adventure game in Madrid is for the lucky winners to find Beetlejuice, who leaves a mark in each train of the ghost train. However, finding the spirit that unleashes the chaos is not an easy task. Players must travel through the film’s locations, from the dusty attic of the Deetz residence, through the Overworld Waiting Room, to the Graveyard Lands to find the troublemaker.
Those who can’t buy a ticket for the flight to the afterlife in Madrid won’t miss out on the Halloween experience either. The escape room is also available in a digital version within the countries of the European Union through the Coke application. Players can explore the ghost passage as if they were visiting in person. By solving a series of puzzles and collecting points that can be redeemed for prizes, they can find Beetlejuice, who almost “comes to life” thanks to the impressive 360-degree scenes. Dana Nussbaum of Warner Bros. Pictures comments, “We are very proud to partner with Fanta to celebrate the return of Beetlejuice. Fanta is an excellent collaborative partner, a perfect fit for Tim Burton’s iconic work.”
“The Coca-Cola Company, and within that Fanta, likes novel twists. And Halloween is the perfect time to bring consumers closer to our brand by bringing playful and witty adventures similar to the character of Beetlejuice to life,” says Strenner Kinga, the brand manager responsible for Fanta at Coca-Cola Hungary.
