Fans of Johnny Hallyday are still looking for support to ensure, in Limoges, two days dedicated to the star

Jacky Paillard has four months left to finalize the tribute event to his idol, Johnny Hallyday. The president of the association Johnny Always is actively looking for partners to achieve his Limougeaud dream.

Jacky Paillard, president of the Johnny Always association, has just led a meeting with around twenty volunteers at the Kyriad hotel in Limoges (project partner) to motivate the troops. “We still have to convince many partners to support us in our project. So far, we have collected around 20,000 euros. We are still waiting to know the amount of local subsidies. »

Objective: reach 100,000 euros to reproduce the star’s real scene (90,000 euros) and install six giant screens at the Limoges exhibition center on June 14 and 15.

Jack Paillard can count on Daniel Leblanc: this fan, based in Châteauroux, rubs shoulders with the singer’s close entourage

Everything is still possible for the Johnny Hallyday fans association. 950 entries have so far been guaranteed (the television channel TF1 has committed to come and film the event, if 2,000 to 2,500 people come).

The entire program is stuck. 150 bikers from all over France, Switzerland and Belgium are expected to stroll through the city center of Limoges, before the charity show planned at the Parc des Expositions, Saturday June 15, to benefit research against cystic fibrosis. It remains to refine the details with the Limoges town hall on the loan of the equipment (barnums, barriers, etc.).

Jacky Paillard is well surrounded. Among the group of passionate volunteers, Daniel Leblanc, ex-postman in Châteauroux and fan of the youth idol, traveled to Limoges to promote the local event. “It’s a great initiative. I help Jacky without hesitation. »

Daniel Leblanc meets, on certain occasions, Laeticia Hallyday, and certain artists who were close to the deceased singer: the artistic director Pierre Billon, the author Jean-Jacques Debout, the actor Pierre Richard.

In December 2023, Daniel Leblanc traveled to Saint-Barthélemy, where the artist is buried, to be present at the ceremony dedicated to the singer. He offered a plaque bearing the image of the star. “I’ve seen Johnny on stage so many times that I don’t even know how many times, actually. On October 16, 2015, he approached me during a concert. He shook my hand, our eyes were connected. This is my meeting with him. » Report on Daniel Leblanc, unconditional fan of Johnny Hallyday, in the latest national quarterly devoted to the singer.

This unconditional fan has built his life around the Hallyday “myth”.

“For me, it’s like a drug, a religion. It’s the branch on which I was able to lean to get through all the events of my life,” he confides.

With his connections, he intends to give a helping hand so that “Johnny Hallyday souvenir day” in Limoges can come true as in Jacky’s dreams.
