Fani Halkia spoke on Antonis Schroiter’s “First Word” vidcast. The Olympic track and field champion, a few days after the incident with the bomb that blew up her husband’s beach bar in Stoupa, opened her papers and, among other things, emphasized that she knows the identity of the perpetrator.
“I think I know who the man is who gave the order for the bomb to go in and he knows that I know him”, Fani Halkia said initially.
The distinguished athlete then revealed that the man arrested by the Police as the perpetrator of the bombing, although explosives were found in his home, he was released. The next day, he casually visited the beach bar as a customer, where he ordered and enjoyed his drinks.
“He came, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t treat him, he paid. Is this now normal? I do not know what to say to you. It happened. I haven’t had time to realize it. I was away from the store at that time”, said Fani Halkia, among others.
“You can’t get into anyone’s mind. If someone has sense, they don’t do this, especially when someone is getting hurt,” he emphasizes.
“The shop belongs to Louis, I have no right to close it or anything. My boy will rise and carry on. I will keep it the way it was until he returns”, pointed out Fani Halkia.
