Commissions attached to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) arrested two men in Puerto Ordaz -Caroní municipality- for illegally transferring war material.
Chief General Domingo Hernández Lárez, strategic operational commander of the Fanb, published the information on his Twitter account. Twitterand detailed that the two subjects were mobilizing in a public transport unit.
In the course of the apprehension, three cell phones and a knife were collected; in addition, four 3-mm ammunition, and another 100 7-mm diameter ammunition.
The public transport unit was protected and the subjects were taken to Detachment 62-5 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), in Puerto Ordaz.
Hernández Lárez asserted that the armed groups will be captured and reiterated that only the State can possess weapons of war, therefore “these irregularities in the territory, which threaten peace and life, will not be allowed.”

In another procedure, officials from the Directorate Against Organized Crime (Dcdo) arrested a citizen, who allegedly had strategic material in his possession illegally. The event was recorded on Atlantic Avenue, Unare parish in the Caroní municipality.
According to the information provided by the authorities, the subject is 30 years old, and was undocumented at the time of the apprehension.
The police commission seized 12 metal pieces, and it is presumed that they were stolen. They also seized a bag and a saw.
The collected evidence and the citizen were transferred to the headquarters of the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (Cpnb).
All detainees were placed under the order of the Public Ministry.
