In the last few hours, an illegal “open pit” mining camp allegedly belonging to the criminal group “El Tren de Guayana” was intervened.
Hernández recalled that all the camps and structures in the nNational parks and protected areas will be dismantled and that the State will not grant any type of permit for exploitation in these areas.
He asserted that the military continues to seize a large amount of explosive materials and military equipment, such as electric detonators, cable, slow fuse, pentolite cartridges and Indumil explosive emulsion, dynamite, aluminized gunpowder and quartermaster material.
