The famous Turkish actor, who marked his name with the golden age of Turkish cinema “Yesilçam”, Cüneyt Arkin, died on Tuesday at the age of 85.
Feeling bad, the actor was transported to the hospital, but the intervention of the doctors might not keep him alive.
Cüneyt Arkin, whose real name is Fahrettin Cüreklibatir, was born in 1937 in Eskisehir, in the center-west of Türkiye.
He has three children, a daughter from his first marriage, and two sons from his second marriage.
A doctor by profession, Arkin had left his job to devote himself entirely to cinema in 1963.
He has played in many films that have marked the history of Turkish cinema.
