At the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 1979, Li Guangxi sang “The Toast Song”, which was known as the “first popular golden song” in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In addition to the former, Li Guangxi sang “The Sun Comes Out Joyfully”, “Ode to Beijing”, “Song of the Shepherd”, “Ode to Yan’an”, etc., almost all of which have become the golden songs of the times.
