The Director of Family Well-being Institute, Astrid Cáceres, traveled this Monday with the government team towards the point of plane crash that left three dead and 4 missing children.
There he met the FSpecial forces and the indigenous community that support the efforts to search for minors.
“We are at a makeshift post made by the Military Forces and the indigenous community to land helicopters. The search points start from here and today we have been able to accompany her to the group from Araracuara that comes with the fishermen family to accompany the search for the children.”said the Director.
In the #OperationHope we speak to the jungle from the heart♥️, we ask that they return the children to us.
The indigenous communities with their knowledge give us hope, they are the ones who know the territory and we trust that we will find them. pic.twitter.com/X1mTKXpvsb

The official in her accompaniment to the jungle assured that “Other groups continue to arrive to carry out joint work, so that the unexplored jungle allows us to open spaces to obtain positive results and find the children soon”.
Finally, he explained that the jungle is the one who cares for minors and that it will allow them to be returned, since the reports that all the communities and scholars have given is that “We are going to find them and that is our hope to be able to have good results.”
