A 6-year-old girl, her two parents and the family’s grandmother were targeted by gunfire following their ball ended up in a neighbor’s yard in North Carolina.

The angry neighbor would have fired several times at the family, until he ran out of projectiles, according to what the mother of the family, Ashley Hilderbrand, told local TV.
The man even allegedly went so far as to chase her husband, William, and daughter, Kinsley White, saying he was going to kill them, she continued.

The father was hit in the back and a bullet hit the girl in the cheek.
The doctors had to remove the bullet fragments from the victims who had to have several stitches.
The suspect, Robert Louis Singletary, 24, fled following the incident.
He is actively sought by the police.
