Asunción, IP Agency.- Small producers from Central, Cordillera, Paraguarí, Bajo Chaco and San Pedro offer products from the family farm, without intermediaries, on the esplanade of Plaza Eligio Ayala, in front of the Legislative Branch building, from 6:00 a.m. until stock lasts.
Likewise, families from different areas of Central exhibit farm products in the central hall Tower B, ground floor of Shopping Multiplaza, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
It is promoted by the government of Paraguay through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in a public-private alliance, in order to promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country.
The Family Agriculture Fair in front of Congress benefits about 120 families and 13 committees from the Central, Cordillera, Paraguarí, San Pedro and Bajo Chaco departments; while in the Multiplaza, 30 Central families benefit.
At both fairs, buyers can access quality fresh products such as Paraguay cheese, pork, suckling pig, goat, sheep, homemade chicken, duck and homemade egg. Also corn, corn flour, red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, habilla and peky beans. In addition to starch, tomatoes, peppers, cassava, sweet potatoes, greens in general, seasonal fruits, grains in general, a variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
