A new fiction with soap opera overtones has arrived on Netflix that will surely captivate viewers in Latin America. This is False Profile, a ten-episode production starring Carolina Miranda (Señora Acero) and Rodolfo Salas (Betty in NY) in the central roles of Camila and Fernando.

The relationship of this couple begins in Las Vegas, where the woman works in a nightclub. She comes from a toxic relationship with an ex-boyfriend and so she decides to set up a profile on a dating app. So she meets Fernando, a man who comes from Colombia for work, and they start a relationship. The passion between them is unbridled and they spend all their time together. But Fernando disappears one day claiming that he has to return to Cartagena because his sister had an accident.
Between the suspicions that something is wrong and the desire to be with this man once more, Camila decides to arrive in Colombia as a surprise and discovers the worst: the man who says his name is Fernando Castell is actually Miguel Estevez, and he has a wife and two children. Wrapped in a web of hate and revenge, Camila organizes a tremendous revenge to be able to get away with it.
