Police officers detained a 23-year-old resident of Tomsk, who reported false mining of an administrative building. She was in a state of intoxication, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the department, the duty unit of the police department for the Oktyabrsky district received an anonymous message about the alleged danger of the administrative building located on Vokzalnaya Street.
The police noted that during the verification activities, this information was not confirmed.
Within an hour, criminal investigation officers located the suspect. She turned out to be a 23-year-old from Tomsk. “By outward signs, she is in a state of intoxication,” the police said.
Previously, the girl, according to the department, was convicted. She confessed to making a call about false mining.
A criminal case was initiated against a Tomsk resident under Part 3 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Knowingly false information about an impending explosion, arson or other actions that create a risk of death, significant property damage or other socially dangerous consequences in order to destabilize the activities of authorities) .
According to the Criminal Code, the commission of such a crime is punishable by a fine of 700 thousand to a million rubles or in the amount of the wage or other income of the convicted person for a period of one to three years, or by imprisonment for a term of six to eight years.
