News culture Fallout: The Amazon series is still talking about it! The famous armor of Fallout 4 in pictures

Just a few hours ago, Amazon Prime’s Fallout series unveiled its very first image. Now, communication is accelerating since other production visuals have emerged on the web, and not just any.

Fallout in series, soon a reality

Yesterday, Amazon Prime Video, for the 25th anniversary in the Fallout video game saga, unveiled a very first image of the upcoming Fallout series. On the latter, we can see three survivors open the door of Vault 33 to reveal a nice skylight. An image that already gives a lot of information when it comes to the pitch of the series. It is for this reason that we thought that Amazon Prime Video would now take its time to say more about this future series, but this is not the case.

This time, it is through a making-of released for the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the franchise that we are entitled to some additional visuals on the Amazon series. This video (available at the top of the article) is presented by Todd Howard himself, namely the creator of Fallout 3 and of Fallout 4.

In this making-of, we can notably see Jonathan Nolan, the director of the series, being served a Nuka Cola (the famous drink of the game) by an assisted armor. Unfortunately, the latter is only partially visible as you can see by viewing the images available below. However, behind her, we can see a first glimpse of the Wasteland.

A TV series faithful to the games

In addition to these new images, Istvan Pely, Art Director, adds that this new proposal is surprising because it manages to remain faithful to the visions of the games and their graphic identities.

So I was blown away by how much they stayed true to our original visions and designs, especially on the visual, world-building side. All this is translated directly to the screen. It’s kind of reassuring that we got it right the first time. Istvan Pely, Art Director chez Bethesda

Words that have something to reassure fans who were suspicious when the license arrived on the small screen.

As a reminder, in addition to Jonathan Nolan directing, everything will also be steered by Lisa Joy, to whom we owe the hit series Westworld. For its part, the cast is made up of Walter Goggin (The Hateful Eight), Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine and the Peculiar Children) and Kyle Maclachlan (Twin Peaks).
