Игра Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will switch to a shareware distribution model. Battle Royale will also be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The changes will take effect June 21.
Prior to this, Fall Guys was distributed only through Steam and the PlayStation Store. From June 21, new users will not be able to register through Steam – the title will appear in the Epic Games Store and disappear from sale in the Valve store. Players who previously purchased the Steam version will be able to launch it from the library as normal.
Players who purchased Fall Guys prior to the transition to F2P will receive the Legacy Pack. It includes three special costumes and access to the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass.
Battle Passes with unique seasonal content will continue to be released in Fall Guys – Mediatonic is moving to a shareware model due to sufficient demand for in-game goods. In addition, cross-play will be available for players on all platforms.
Formerly Fall Guys became unavailable for users from Russia. According to a post on Valve’s store website, “Item is no longer available in this region”, the authors of the title did not explain the reasons for this decision.
