Fakhr Zaman won another honor

National cricket team batsman Fakhar Zaman became the 11th Pakistani player to score a century in One Day International cricket at National Stadium Karachi. National team batsman Fakhar Zaman scored a century against New Zealand in the third one-day match played at the National Stadium.

Fakhar Zaman became the 11th player to score a century in an ODI at this stadium. 33 centuries have been scored in ODI matches on this ground, the first century was scored by Zaheer Abbas in 1983 and his score was 113 runs.
Earlier, Salman Butt scored two centuries in 2008 and 2009, Muhammad Yousuf in 2002 and 2004, while Aamir Sohail in 1996, Inzamam-ul-Haq in 2004, Kamran Akmal in 2005, Younis Khan in 2008, Shoaib Malik in 2008 and Babar Azam in 2019. The bar has scored a century.

It may be noted that till now the highest individual score at the National Stadium in ODIs is 181 and this feat was accomplished by West Indies’ Vivian Richards.

5 Indian players have scored 6 centuries in the National Stadium, including 2 centuries by Suresh Raina, 4 players from West Indies have scored 5 centuries, Vivian Richards has scored 2 centuries.

Similarly, 4 players from Sri Lanka scored 6 centuries, Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara accomplished this feat 2 and 2 times respectively. Similarly, one player each from Australia and England has scored a century in this field.
