Think back to previous Nintendo generations, you might remember models of GameCube handhelds inspired by the Game Boy Advance SP. If you want an actual version like this, well…that’s right Console Engine and “GingerOfOz” on YouTube creation.

This Mac mod was able to compress the portable unit similar to the Game Boy Advance SP. In fact, it runs a “clipped” Wii pad inside, which explicitly supports Nintendo’s GameCube library.

In an effort to stay true to the GameCube experience, a dedicated software has been added that includes a classic boot screen. If you think regarding the screen, it’s 480p. Headphone support is also available and the entire device is designed with the help of graphics and 3D printing software. The only downside is the battery life – only regarding an hour and a half.

Oh, and Gingerfoods We’ve also gotten to the bottom of the original concept. Apparently, the guy goes by the name Demont (better known as “gcpguy22” on Instagram) and makes fun of him while in college. He posted it online to see if people at the time would think it was legit, and the rest is history.

He has the same YouTube channel Pre-shared videos for Wii mobile And Playstation 2 handles. What do you think of this realistic hobby? Leave a comment below.
