Minuto30.com .- On the night of Tuesday, August 13, an attempted robbery left one person dead and a woman arrested. It happened in the Colombian capital.
The violent incident that occurred in the Siete de Agosto neighborhood, in the Barrios Unidos area, ended in tragedy when a bodyguard was seriously injured and died shortly after due to the severity of his injuries.
Thanks to the valuable support of neighbours, a woman who allegedly took part in the attack was arrested. Initial investigations revealed that two firearms and a motorcycle that had been modified to look like a traffic patrol car were seized, in a clear attempt to impersonate an authority figure.
The violent incident has shocked the community and led to swift intervention by the authorities.
