The matches were shot with four cameras and telecasted on YouTube. The video included crowd-noise sound effects downloaded from the internet to mislead the audience. The name was Indian Premier Cricket League. They started betting on fake IPL and looted lakhs. The Russians were mostly scammed. When the matches reached the play-offs, the organizers were caught by the police. The group used to place bets through the Telegram app.
