According to reports from El Nacional, the news that Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos does not trust manager Carlo Ancelotti and does not want to play for Real next season is worrying fans.
Since his move from Bayern Munich in 2014, there is no doubt that Kroos has been the most important engine in Real’s midfield. The German has made 402 appearances for the Spanish giants, scoring 27 goals and providing 88 assists. Along with Luka Modric and current Manchester United midfielder Casemiro, Kroos has formed one of the best midfield combinations in European football.
However, the player, whose contract at Real expires at the end of this season, does not want to play for another season. Real want to renew his contract but he does not want to play a role in the team for the coming seasons. Ancelotti is reportedly ‘distrustful’ and wants guarantees regarding his role at the club.
According to reports, Kroos has offers from Manchester United, Manchester City, Saudi Arabia and even MLS. There are also rumors that he will retire at the end of the season.
Despite uncertainty over his future, Cruz has already made 37 appearances for Real Madrid this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
