Vienna – One and a half weeks before the 40th Vienna City Marathon, the strong elite field has mixed up once more. With Abdi Fufa (best time 2:05:57 hours) from Ethiopia and Kenyan Bethwel Yegon (2:06:14) there were two more contenders. Charles Ndiema and Senbere Teferi, among others, had to cancel their participation. The Austrian top runners Timon Theuer (leg injuries) and Mario Bauernfeind (illness in advance) are also out.
