The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) expressed its condolences and dismay at the sudden death, in Luanda, of player Pedro Banga from the National Under-17 Team, who participated in the 2019 World Cup in Brazil.

According to the document, the FAF, on behalf of its leaders, workers and associates, bows to the pain of the family and the associative mass and offers its deepest condolences.

The same source states that the governing body of the sport became aware of the death of the Angolan international midfielder and U17 international player, in 2019, in Brazil, Pedro Banga.

Just 20 years old, the player last season was linked to Marítimo de Portugal, a club for which he played, with the Under23 team, a total of 15 matches.

The athlete fell unconscious at the end of a football match between friends, at the IMNEMARISTA field, in Luanda, where he was on vacation.

Despite being promptly rescued by his colleagues, Pedro Banga ended up losing his life. In 2019, the Kabuscorp do Palanca player, Fundo Martins, died of a cardiac arrest, in the Curtume neighborhood, in the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda.

At Girabola, Fundo Martins had spells at Progresso do Sambizanga, Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA), Sporting de Cabinda and Kabuscorp do Palanca.
