M Fadil Imran was elected by acclamation as the General Chairperson of the Central Board of the All Indonesia Badminton Association (PP PBSI) at the XXIV/2024 PBSI National Conference in Surabaya, Saturday (10/8).
The Secretary General of PP PBSI will occupy the position as the new captain of the national badminton organization for the 2024-2028 term.

by acclamation gave a mandate to Fadil Imran to become the general chairman of PP PBSI for the next four years, replacing the position previously held by Agung Firman Sampurna.
Fadil asked and invited all parties to work together to build and enhance Indonesia’s badminton achievements.
“I invite all parties to work together, together to make improvements and fix anything that is lacking to reach the peak of world achievement,” said Fadil.
To bring Indonesia’s badminton achievements back to glory on the world stage, Fadil carries a vision and mission that will be realized when leading PBSI 2024-2028.

“I bring a vision and mission. The vision is to make badminton a source of pride and joy for the community.
Indonesia,” said Fadil firmly.
Meanwhile, the mission carried out by Fadil Imran to realize this vision consists of three things, namely the transformation of athlete recruitment and development, optimization of operational management, sports industry, and innovation, as well as increasing communication and community involvement.
To form the management, Fadil will be assisted by four formator members, namely Alex Tirta (Head of the DKI Jakarta PBSI Provincial Management), Yudanegara (DI Yogyakarta), Suharto (Bengkulu), and Tonny Wahyudi (East Java).
The formation team was given a month to compile the management of PP PBSI 2024-2028. (Ant/Z-1)
