karnataka assembly elections
On March 29, the Election Commission announced the dates for the assembly elections in Karnataka, and following that, a series of election propaganda followed the pre-existing trends on social media.
Like every election, this time also in the name of Karnataka elections, an attempt was made to mislead voters by sharing false and fabricated data of pre-polls survey.
In the name of BBC News, which did not conduct any pre-poll survey in India, a similar fabricated survey was viral claiming that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is going to form the government once once more in Karnataka. In fact, BBC does not conduct any kind of pre-poll survey in any election in India and in every election, an attempt is made to mislead voters by sharing such poll data in the name of BBC.
