The priest presented a second-grade relic of the venerable Dr. José Gregorio Hernández as a protection for the sick
The workers of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana and, especially, of the Corporate Health Office of the CVG holding were filled with joy with the blessing given to the facilities of the Clinical Hospital of the Workers of Guayana “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández”, by Monsignor Helizandro Terán, current bishop of Ciudad Guayana and recently appointed coadjutor archbishop of Mérida.
With enthusiasm, Monsignor Helizandro Terán blessed the facilities dedicated to the medical attention of the cevegistas workers, of the basic companies and their families, asking the Almighty “to turn these spaces into a home, into an oasis, into a solar of tranquility for all the CVG staff and those who need physical and spiritual care.”
Likewise, the representative of the Catholic Church commented that he welcomed the cordial and friendly invitation made by the president of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana, Pedro Maldonado, to the hospital center that bears the name of Blessed José Gregorio Hernández; which is why he took the opportunity to present a second-grade relic of the “venerable” as a protection for the sick and the staff who work there.CVG Press
