At the 54th edition of the Paris Air Show, or Salon aeronautique du Bourget, which took place from June 19 to 25, the Angolan company TAAG distinguished itself with its announcements: no less than nine planes, all Airbus A220, which it ordered from three leasers – ACG, Azorra and NAC.

An order which adds to the six A220s already ordered during the Farnborough International Airshow in 2022, from the lessor ALC, and which will complete, from July 2024, a current fleet of twelve operational aircraft (out of around twenty), to which additional occasional rentals. The company, which is also expecting rental Boeing 737s, had previously announced its desire to double its fleet by 2027.
