The statement said that Facebook has focused on four aspects to stay informed about the spread of the Corona virus around the world, including Pakistan. In this regard, the facts are being checked in collaboration with organizations like Ministry of National Health of Pakistan, World Health Organization and UNICEF.

Facebook said that ‘We strive to ensure that everyone has accurate information about Corona and stop the spread of false or baseless news, along with helping relief efforts, local governments and businesses through the platform. be provided’.

Facebook says it is working with the Pakistani government, regions and businesses, large and small, to equip everyone with the power of digital technology to navigate these difficult times.

It may be recalled that Facebook recently introduced an information center on its platform to discourage fake news regarding the coronavirus, where people are provided with authentic information.
