In New Mexico, a fact has caused consternation. It is regarding the death of a child who was fatally stabbed in his own bed. Before he died, he managed to identify his attacker and revealed his name to investigators.

The 11-year-old boy, identified by the name of Bruce, mentioned to the authorities that last Sunday morning, the perpetrator of the crime had been his own mother. Although he revealed the identity, he did not mention why he did it.

The minor’s father called the emergency service when he woke up to his son’s screams. After getting up and going to Bruce’s room, he saw the serious injuries on the boy’s body.

When the father looked for his wife to tell her regarding their son’s condition, he found her in her room, unconscious.

“Mr. Johnson found his son in his room. He went to call 911 when he discovered that Mary had also been stabbed, but she was unconscious in another room,” the statement from authorities read.

Emergency service personnel arrived at approximately 1:00 am and immediately transferred the injured to the Lubbock Hospital in Texas. Unfortunately, the minor was pronounced dead following four hours of his hospitalization.

The doctors did everything to stabilize Mary, and when they did, they transferred her to another hospital. Once there, she filed an arrest warrant for alleged first-degree murder, following learning the last words of the deceased child.
