Two women were transported to a hospital following a collision between their vehicle and that of a sixty-something, arrested for impaired abilities, Friday evening in Laval.
The offending vehicle was traveling northbound on Route 335 when it deviated from its trajectory near Dagenais Boulevard. He hit a vehicle with two women on board that was traveling southbound followed by another motorist, a 36-year-old man, said Stephanie Beshara, spokesperson for the Laval Police Department.
The accident happened around 7:50 p.m. Both women were taken to hospital in serious condition and the 61-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving. The 36-year-old third driver was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Friday evening, Route 335 was closed between Dagenais and Des Perron.
Investigators were to go to the scene to reconstruct the scene.
