Fabricato reports the highest profit in the last 5 years. How much did he earn?

Fabricato has a new course and continues with the task of following the path of better results, as it has done in the last two years. The task has been carried out in a local and global macroeconomic environment that has suffered important adjustments and distortions in national and international trade.

From the perspective of the president of the textile company, Gustavo Alberto Lenis Steffens, “we have resolved with vision, innovation, commitment and action the challenges that have been posed to us in the textile industry and in the midst of a complex environment, where we hope that the new government resolves the vicissitudes of a textile-clothing policy so that Colombia can have more and better jobs in a sector capable of taking advantage of the advantages it has, those of having an integrated production chain from spinning to clothing”.

“The historic results of Fabricato in this first half of the year are due to the redefinition of corporate guidelines focused on the profitability of the company in its textile and real estate activities, to the austerity measures in expenses and to the increase in productivity and efficiency of operations,” the company said in a statement.

The company highlighted that since 2013 it had not observed the levels of textile sales reached in this first half of 2022, when the sales amounted to $235,026 million.

For its part, net income, which reached $5,109 million, it was also historic and the highest in the last five years. Compared to the same period in 2021, when it totaled $2,434 million, it increased 110%.

In its semi-annual report it was also mentioned that the first 60,000 meters of fabric for the National Police, with antibacterial functionality that allows public force personnel to have more comfort while wearing the uniform. Fabricato’s commitment is to deliver a total of 1.1 million meters during the year 2022.
