The operating result (EBIT) fell by 19.4 percent to around seven million euros compared to the same period last year, as the company announced on Friday. Sales, on the other hand, rose by 16.5 percent to around 49.9 million euros.
The bottom line was a profit of around 5.2 million euros in the first nine months – almost 15 percent less than a year earlier. The result was burdened by investments in the “establishment and expansion of Fabasoft Proceco Solutions”, an increase in “sales and travel activities” following the corona pandemic and higher personnel expenses. According to its own statements, the company employed 447 people at the end of 2022. A year earlier there were 358 employees. With a view to the future, Fabasoft expects personnel costs to continue to rise in view of higher salaries and a shortage of IT specialists.
