The designer and creative director ended with an unforgettable event Stephane Peeps by “FAAM Studios” the Berlin Fashion Week. On January 21st he presented his FAAM Studios Autumn Winter 2023 collection under the name “AFROLUNAR” at the Kühlhaus Berlin. Matching the name provided DJane Coco Calipso with their Afrobeats for a good mood and contributed to the upbeat atmosphere of the event.

The clothes at the show were made from upcycled fabrics and kept more neutral tones – white, beige, black and brown. There were beautiful two-piece suits that were very inspired by the nineties minimalism trend. Other pieces in the collection featured artful presentations, such as a patched-together denim jacket with floor-to-ceiling sleeves. As the designer said following the show, all the models were friends and acquaintances. It was important to Peeps that everyone on the runway had fun. His collection is inspired by Berlin, its surroundings, upcycling and art.

Saturday night’s event was not a traditional fashion show. The models ran down a flight of stairs and across a platform between impressive motorbikes and canisters. The motorcycles were a tribute to the designer, who collects vintage motorcycles himself. The guests might relax on three floors of the cold store which has a hole in the middle and allows guests to watch the show from the second and third floors.
The interplay of fashion and music
At the final fashion show of the Berlin Fashion Week AW23, there was an interaction between the worlds of music and fashion. The event was accompanied throughout by Coco Calipso. During the show there were two pieces of music, by the rappers SELASSION and STIMULUS. In the end, the French artist delighted Thomias Ludovic Radin with a unique expressive dance and thus rounded off the show.
A nice end to fashion week
After the show, the stage turned into a dance floor, where most of the guests let the fashion week end with drinks and music. On the third floor, visitors might see some pieces from the collection and see for themselves what will be worn for the coming season. FAAM Studios delivered the perfect event and ensured a successful conclusion to fashion week.
