Manchester United overtakes Everton, in the third round of the FA Cup, “FA CUP”.
Manchester United beat Everton, 3-1, on Friday, in the third round of the FA Cup.
Manchester United opened the scoring early in the first half, by Brazilian Anthony, in the 4th minute, and the guests took advantage of a mistake by Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea to equalize in the 14th minute, with Connor Cody’s goal.
Manchester United was close to scoring the lead once more in the first half, but Danish Christian Eriksson’s shot hit the crossbar of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
In the second half, Manchester United came back to take the lead with an own goal scored by Conor Cody by mistake in his own goal in the 51st minute. In the final moments of the match, Marcus Rashford scored the third goal for the “Red Devils” from a penalty kick in the 90th + 7th minute.
