**Liam Lawson:** Thank you! It was definitely a whirlwind, that’s for sure. Finding out on Thursday that I’d be racing on Sunday was a shock, but I was thrilled for the chance.
**Archyde:** You adapted incredibly quickly to the car and the track, considering you had very limited time to prepare. What was your mindset going into the race?
**Liam Lawson:** Honestly, I just focused on making the most of the situation. I knew I had a fast car beneath me, so I just wanted to learn as much as possible, build confidence, and do my best.
**archyde:** A 13th-place finish is a fantastic result for a debutant stepping into such a competitive field. How satisfied were you with your performance?
**Liam Lawson:** I was definitely happy with how things went. It was a learning experience, and I’m pleased with how I handled the pressure. There’s always room for advancement, but it was a solid start.
**Archyde:** This debut comes after a highly prosperous stint in Formula 2, were you’ve consistently demonstrated speed and maturity. How did the experience in F2 prepare you for this F1 opportunity?
**Liam Lawson:** F2 is an incredibly tough championship, and its been invaluable in my advancement. It taught me how to deal with pressure, close racing, and constantly pushing the limits. Those skills were definitely transferable to Formula 1.
**Archyde:** Now, you’re stepping into a full-time seat with red Bull for the remainder of the 2023 season. What are your goals for these upcoming races?
**Liam Lawson:** My primary goal is to keep learning and improving with every session. I want to be consistent, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the team’s success. Ultimately, I want to show everyone what I’m capable of.
