F1: Mercedes and Qualcomm collaborate to create innovative experiences

It was this morning on the Silverstone circuit that the eight-time world champion Mercedes team unveiled its W 14 for the 2023 Formula 1 season, in the presence of course of its two British drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Return of the dominant black for the livery and world title ambition for the 3rd force of the 2022 championship which obtained only one victory, in Interlagos (Brazil). Far from its usual stratospheric standards obtained from 2014 to 2021. On the sponsor side, one of the flagship arrivals is that of the Snapdragon brand, belonging to Qualcomm Technologies, and former partner of Scuderia Ferrari in 2022.

This collaboration aims to leverage the power of the Snapdragon platform to create unique experiences for fans, both real and virtual. The Mercedes team will explore the opportunities of Snapdragon and other Qualcomm technologies to accelerate its digital transformation and create a dedicated space at the team’s UK campus in Brackley.

Snapdragon is the consumer brand of Qualcomm Technologies. Snapdragon platforms enrich experiences on many high-end smartphones, gaming devices, connected cars, PCs and wearables around the world. The Snapdragon logo will appear on the Mercedes team’s 2023 single-seater, on the racing suits of the drivers, on the uniforms of the staff, and in the garage of the team.
