F1 Japan GP: Start countdown of 2-hour rule with red flag interruption[F1-Gate.com]

The 2022 F1 Japan GP has been red flagged due to rain, but the countdown to the end has started according to the 2-hour rule.

There was also a notice of restart once, but it was canceled following that. And once the race was cut off, the countdown from 2 hours, which is the maximum time of the race, started. It becomes 0 following 17:00.

At the F1 Japan GP, ​​Max Verstappen will be the title if he has an 8 point difference to Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and a 6 point difference to Sergio Perez (Red Bull). If it ends like this, it will be carried over to the next battle.

No points will be awarded unless the leader completes at least two laps without the intervention of the safety car or virtual safety car.

If the leader has completed more than two laps and less than 25% of the scheduled race distance, the top five finishers will be awarded points as follows:

2nd place – 4 points
3rd place – 3 points
4th place – 2 points
5th place – 1 point

If the leader completes 25% of the scheduled race distance but less than 50%, points will be awarded to the Top 9 as follows:

1st place – 13 points
2nd place – 10 points
3rd place – 8 points
4th place – 6 points
5th place – 5 points
6th place – 4 points
7th place – 3 points
8th place – 2 points
9th place – 1 point

If the leader completes 50% of the scheduled race distance but less than 75%, points will be awarded to the Top 10 as follows:

1st place – 19 points
2nd place – 14 points
3rd place – 12 points
4th place – 9 points
5th place – 8 points
6th place – 6 points
7th place – 5 points
8th place – 3 points
9th place – 2 points
10th place – 1 point

Full points will be awarded to the Top 10 if they complete more than that threshold percentage of race distances.
