F1 Bahrain test day 1 (AM): Ranking, lap time, number of laps[F1-Gate .com]

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) took the lead on the timesheet following the four-hour session in the morning on the first day of the 2022 F1 Bahrain test.

Two weeks following the last F1 Barcelona test, F1 will be conducting a final three-day pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit, the setting for the opening round of the Bahrain Grand Prix.

On the first day of the F1 Bahrain test, the Mercedes F1 brought in a W13 without side pods and got a lot of attention. The Haas F1 Team was unable to prepare by the morning session due to delayed cargo arrival and skipped the session. Nine teams ran.

For reference, last year’s F1 Bahrain GP qualifying top time was 1’28.997 (Max Verstappen / Red Bull Honda).
